Current Vacancies:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy office located in the heart of Manchester city centre.

This is a Junior Administrative role, with the successful candidate being mainly responsible for providing general administrative support to the various functions of the firm.

The suitable candidate must have some administrative experience and be computer literate being confident using Word, Excel and Outlook.

You must be able to communicate with others face to face and over the telephone.

Your role will involve:

  • Administrative support to fee earning staff and partners
  • General support as required to other areas of business such as Reception and Accounts
  • General office duties to include Filing, Scanning, Photocopying, Banking
  • Answering the telephone and taking messages.

The Hours for this Role are Monday – Friday 09.00am until 5.30pm.

Pay rate is equal to applicable minimum wage.

The role requires someone with previous experience as a post completion clerk so that they can start the role and ‘hit the ground running’.

Post Completion Clerk

Hours 9 till 5.30
Lunch 1 Hour
28 days holiday incl bank holidays

The role:

  • Preparation and submitting of Stamp Duty Returns
  • Dealing with Landlords/Management Companies in regard to obtaining Certificates of Compliance
  • Ensuring that the Transfer Deeds and pre-registration documents are received from the Seller’s Solicitors
  • Checking that OS1 is still in date prior to the file going to registrations department
  • Ensuring all documents are executed and dated correctly
  • Checking ledger balances
  • Completing procedural forms
  • Updating Post Completion Spreadsheets
  • Dealing with clients and colleagues to provide support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the Company’s standards for client care
  • Contribute as a team member and provide cover for sickness and holidays when required.
