Britains biggest mortgage lender claims the housing market is ‘firming,’ 5 years after the crisis blew up.
Yesterday, Halifax said the average house price rose 1.3 % in December to £163,845.
And the average for the past three months has topped the prior quarter for the first time since mid-2012.
Housing Economist at Halifax, Martin Ellis says “The gradual decline we have been seeing has come to a halt. We expect broad stability nationally in 2013.”
